Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Shi Li got the match started through his kick off. Dante Lacasa was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Shi Li showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Shi Li in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dante Lacasa saved Mexico from getting behind. A sloppy throw-in by Leonardo Leoz in the 10th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Galati Harbour Cats's Dan Petrescu. With his leg Dante Lacasa managed to avoid a goal in the 13thth minute, when Galati Harbour Cats's Shi Li fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octavian Soare having to interfere. Octavian Soare made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 17th minute of play. In the 22nd minute Lautaro Mancebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octavian Soare saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Octavian Soare tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Luca Rouco hit a great ball. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Shi Li got free with Dante Lacasa in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 38th minute of the match Galati Harbour Cats got a corner. Mexico's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dan Petrescu ran over to the corner to take the kick. Octavian Soare made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luca Zorita in the 42nd minute of play. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ianis Man in the 47th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Iordache Negrițoiu hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octavian Soare having to interfere. Galati Harbour Cats's Ovidiu Pandrea was substituted for Valeriu Zdrobiş. In the 67th minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. Joel Gaona was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 72nd minute Shi Li shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Octavian Soare stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luca Zorita's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ianis Man in the 75th minute of play. In the 76th minute of the match Galati Harbour Cats got a corner. Mexico's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dan Petrescu ran over to the corner to take the kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Octavian Soare in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Octavian Soare made a huge save. 82 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Ianis Man came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 83rd minute Shi Li shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, Joel Gaona notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Galati Harbour Cats's Octavian Soare. Octavian Soare was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, Galati Harbour Cats's Octavian Soare got control of the ball when Alberto Tafalla tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Shi Li in the 95th minute of play. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
