Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Axel Tasis kicked off to start the match. Kaiet Carballeira hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. In the 4th minute Idacio Helguera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Los romperredes F.C's Idacio Helguera managed to work through Costa Rica's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Idacio Helguera dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. A collision led to Los romperredes F.C getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Kaiet Carballeira hit a great ball. In the 16th minute Idacio Helguera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Casildo Galdamez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sabin Reyes went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Idacio Helguera in the 27th minute of play. Costa Rica's Axel Tasis got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Benito Sanz was out of position in the 34 minute of play, and Idacio Helguera capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Idacio Helguera really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Lia Saez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Tasis in the 39th minute of play. Kaiet Carballeira hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Idacio Helguera, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Idacio Helguera was the one to do the kick off. In the 54thth minute of the game Idacio Helguera who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Costa Rica's Benito Sanz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Los romperredes F.C fans' excitement grew in the 64th match minute when Los romperredes F.C's Gaskon Mayor looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Idacio Helguera took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Aaron Alcocer hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. 72 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Idacio Helguera came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Casildo Galdamez scored 6-0 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Los romperredes F.C fans' excitement grew in the 81st match minute when Los romperredes F.C's Idacio Helguera looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Chinto Lastras hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. In the 86th minute, Eliseo Noboa reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Lia Saez. The goal made the score 7-1. After a rather tough play, Los romperredes F.C's Kaiet Carballeira got a free kick in the 89th minute. In the 91st minute Aaron Alcocer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lia Saez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 94 minutes into the match, Idacio Helguera had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Idacio Helguera was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-1. Los romperredes F.C walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
