An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 22nd minute of play forced Real Sla-wa C.F's goalkeeper Zumar Malet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th minute, Real Sla-wa C.F's Jedrzej Podolski ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Julio Vera. Julio Vera yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

52 minutes into the game, Zdzislaw Weyna was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Real Sla-wa C.F's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. Felix Montenegro's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Zumar Malet firmly grabbed it by the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Ecuador's Cristian Sancho slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Zumar Malet. That made the score 1-2 after 59 minutes of play. After a rather tough play, Real Sla-wa C.F's Radoslaw Zieba got a free kick in the 62nd minute. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 65th minute of play forced Real Sla-wa C.F's goalkeeper Zumar Malet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Real Sla-wa C.F's zone, Luis Andino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zumar Malet came out of the goal and Luis Andino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zumar Malet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustín Saelices in the 75th minute of the match. In the 81st match minute, Real Sla-wa C.F was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zdzislaw Weyna to maneuver through the defense. After 83 played minutes Real Sla-wa C.F got a freekick which was hit by Zdzislaw Weyna. Jedrzej Podolski struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Real Sla-wa C.F. With 91 minutes on the clock, Ksawery Jaks commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 91st minute, one of Real Sla-wa C.F:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Real Sla-wa C.F. Daniel Zorita placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! The Real Sla-wa C.F fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
