In the 26th minute, Felix Luque left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mexico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Felix Donciu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 29th minute of play. In the 33rd minute Fu Ting Nan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A very nice done corner allowed Facundo Cadaval to score against Felix Donciu in Werneck FC - DMZ's goal. 1-4 after 36 minutes. Felix Donciu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 39th minute of the match. Felix Donciu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Werneck FC - DMZ's Felix Donciu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Werneck FC - DMZ from getting a goal against them. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 55th minute after Werneck FC - DMZ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. Joel Gaona made a great header on Mexico's corner, it was just that Werneck FC - DMZ's Felix Donciu managed to reach the ball for a save. After 60 minutes, Diamantino Andrade mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Werneck FC - DMZ and the Mexico players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Werneck FC - DMZ getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Diamantino Andrade hit a great ball. Felix Donciu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 63rd minute of play. But to his dismay, Alberto Tafalla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. Werneck FC - DMZ's Emilio Machado was substituted for Zé Paulo Luz. The supporters of Mexico booed when Werneck FC - DMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fu Ting Nan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 74th minute, Fu Ting Nan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Fu Ting Nan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Werneck FC - DMZ's Felix Donciu got control of the ball when Lautaro Mancebo tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Felix Donciu in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 89 minutes Werneck FC - DMZ's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Mexico's Joel Gaona to fire away a dangerous shot which Felix Donciu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 92nd minute of the match, Joel Gaona tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Felix Donciu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emilio Machado in the 93rd minute of play. Werneck FC - DMZ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joélson Amaral in the 94th minute. Werneck FC - DMZ's Joélson Amaral was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Dante Lacasa in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in.
