Sebastian Villa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Norbert Verhulst tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Norbert Verhulst showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 10th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Sporting Westmeerbeek's Brecht Van Hespen got a free kick in the 28th minute. Gwen De Meulder made in the 31st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Honduras's Esteban Carvallo. Edmundo Espiga, 33 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Norbert Verhulst took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moises Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Edmundo Espiga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Norbert Verhulst was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. In the 39th match minute, Sporting Westmeerbeek was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henri-Xavier Vereyt to maneuver through the defense. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edmundo Espiga made a kick off. Norbert Verhulst showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 52nd minute of the match. 54 minutes into the match, Moises Tafalla notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Sporting Westmeerbeek's Norbert Verhulst. Norbert Verhulst was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Honduras's Esteban Carvallo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Gwen De Meulder, made in the 57th minute of the game. Norbert Verhulst made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 58th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Sporting Westmeerbeek's zone, Edmundo Espiga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Norbert Verhulst came out of the goal and Edmundo Espiga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Sporting Westmeerbeek's Charles-Antoine Vercammen got a free kick in the 64th minute. Sporting Westmeerbeek's defense didn't have a chance, in the 67th minute, when Edmundo Espiga scored to the left of an out of position Norbert Verhulst, making the score, 1-4. 74 minutes into the game, Edmundo Espiga recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Norbert Verhulst. Edmundo Espiga showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. Christian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Sebastian Villa came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Honduras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sebastian Villa couldn't finish the play.
