The wind increased when Lesardo Moreno made the kick off in the second half. If Lesardo Moreno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 52 minutes into the match, AGT Team's goalkeeper Baltazar Adán had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felix Montenegro. The crowd rose to their feet as Felix Montenegro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Baltazar Adán. That made the score 1-1 in the 52 minute of play. 55 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Baltazar Adán was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Baltazar Adán made a huge save. In the 63rd match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonio Arias to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Andino in the 90th minute of play forced AGT Team's goalkeeper Baltazar Adán to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 92 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Agustín Saelices. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than AGT Team.
