After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Fernan Garoa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. In the 29th minute, Albano Lorenz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 31st match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. If Fernan Garoa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonathan Venegas kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. After 44 minutes, Rigoberto Mina mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Garrapatita Futbol players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Garrapatita Futbol booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rigoberto Mina didn't get a good kick on the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Tomas Illescas made the kick off in the second half. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernan Garoa in the 55th minute of play. After 56 minutes, Patricio Costa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Garrapatita Futbol players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 56th minute, Patricio Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 65 minutes, Patricio Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patricio Costa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Tomas Illescas fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Tomas Illescas a yellow card for diving instead. 69 minutes into the game, Ignacio Cresenciano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Garrapatita Futbol's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. After 69 played minutes Garrapatita Futbol got a freekick which was hit by Ignacio Cresenciano. In the 74th minute Alan Turin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alan Turin took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 82nd minute, Alfredo Gorri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alex Chicote hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Isidoro Toribio struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Garrapatita Futbol. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Gorri in the 87th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. 94 minutes into the match, Alfredo Gorri notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Garrapatita Futbol's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
