The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 4 minutes of play, Encanto's João Adolfo Santana made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jacobo Arnau was left in no man's land by his defense there! 7 minutes into the match, LOS PIRATAS's goal looked a bit too open when 秦鸿云 came free, but Jacobo Arnau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When João Adolfo Santana fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Encanto's protests and gave João Adolfo Santana a yellow card for diving instead. In the 10th minute, Severiano Bemabe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Encanto's attentive Carlos Costa managed to snatch the ball when Jimeno Ibar made a throw-in in the 12th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by 秦鸿云 in the 15th minute of play forced LOS PIRATAS's goalkeeper Jacobo Arnau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Encanto's goalkeeper Rui de Mendonça, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 25 minutes LOS PIRATAS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Betão Sena who took care of the corner kick. Encanto's Betão Sena was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jacobo Arnau in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Betão Sena shot a long shot in the 25th minute and a light blocked Jacobo Arnau hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 0-2. When Martin Senio fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LOS PIRATAS's protests and gave Martin Senio a yellow card for diving instead. After 30 played minutes LOS PIRATAS got a freekick which was hit by Martin Senio. LOS PIRATAS's Jacobo Arnau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 秦鸿云 in the 32nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Encanto's zone, Severiano Bemabe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rui de Mendonça came out of the goal and Severiano Bemabe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jacobo Arnau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 秦鸿云, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. After 40 played minutes LOS PIRATAS got a freekick which was hit by Humberto Urtzi.

Joélson Moreira kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. If Paulino Urtsin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Encanto getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Romeu Mesquita hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, LOS PIRATAS's Israel Dalmai tried to score from far away in the 60th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Jacobo Arnau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Denílson do Nascimento, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, João Adolfo Santana managed to get in a good position for a shot. Encanto's supporters rose to their feet, but João Adolfo Santana was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jacobo Arnau breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Encanto booed when LOS PIRATAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnulfo Virila didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 85th minute, Jimeno Ibar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. LOS PIRATAS's Jacobo Arnau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denílson do Nascimento in the 86th minute of play. Encanto's Carlos Costa managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jimeno Ibar in the 94 minute of the game. After 95 minutes, Joélson Moreira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Encanto and the LOS PIRATAS players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 96th match minute, Encanto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joélson Moreira to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Encanto eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
