The crowd rose to their feet as Carloforte f.c.'s Alessandro Iacovella slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Flavio Cura. That made the score 1-0 after 17 minutes of play. Arturo De Vito who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 21stth minute tested the skills of Flavio Cura when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Beppe Savoia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from De-la-Cruz Avecilla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arturo De Vito could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Flavio Cura made a huge save. Amedeo Orioli hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Amedeo Orioli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Through an outstanding action, after 35 minutes, Flavio Cura successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Flavio Cura was out of position in the 37 minute of play, and Alessandro Iacovella capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alessandro Iacovella really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Beppe Savoia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from De-la-Cruz Avecilla in the 40th minute of play. Barcelona Sporting Club's Flavio Cura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alessandro Iacovella in the 46th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arturo De Vito to make the kick off. Beppe Savoia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Artigue in the 50th minute of the match. Flavio Martini kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Efrain Mascareñas kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Barcelona Sporting Club's zone, Armin Scotti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Flavio Cura came out of the goal and Armin Scotti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 64 minutes into the match, Barcelona Sporting Club's goal looked a bit too open when Arturo De Vito came free, but Flavio Cura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Flavio Cura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arturo De Vito, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Barcelona Sporting Club's Flavio Cura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arturo De Vito in the 69th minute of play. When Cristian Garagorri fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barcelona Sporting Club's protests and gave Cristian Garagorri a yellow card for diving instead. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedro Artigue couldn't finish the play. The Carloforte f.c. fans cheered their team off the field, for while Barcelona Sporting Club had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
