An unexpectedly hard shot by Giorgos Maragozis in the 14th minute of play forced Barcelona Sporting Club's goalkeeper Flavio Cura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Barcelona Sporting Club's De-la-Cruz Avecilla in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Flavio Cura stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Koulis Kouloucheris's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. In the 29th match minute, Barcelona Sporting Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Efrain Mascareñas to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling De-la-Cruz Avecilla in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Loukas Kois prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With an all-out effort, Kerkyra FC's Flavio Cura threw himself towards the right post 56 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Giorgos Maragozis, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 73 played minutes Giorgos Maragozis rounded Barcelona Sporting Club's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-2. Giorgos Maragozis kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Loukas Kois made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Garagorri in the 79th minute of play. After 81 minutes of play, Barcelona Sporting Club's De-la-Cruz Avecilla made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Loukas Kois was left in no man's land by his defense there! 85 minutes into the game, Koulis Kouloucheris was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kerkyra FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barcelona Sporting Club the free kick. Koulis Kouloucheris hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Flavio Cura made an important save on a dangerous shot by Koulis Kouloucheris in the 91st minute. Flavio Cura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paraskevas Labrakoglou in the 94th minute of play. The Kerkyra FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Kerkyra FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
