With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leandro Lizar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 19th minute, Alessandro Iacovella got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 21 minutes of play, Carloforte f.c.'s Amedeo Orioli made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leandro Lizar was left in no man's land by his defense there! Arturo De Vito took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leandro Lizar. A collision led to Carloforte f.c. getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Amedeo Orioli hit a great ball. Beppe Savoia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rosendo Berart in the 34th minute of the match. In the 43rd minute, Alessandro Iacovella ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leandro Lizar was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Alessandro Iacovella fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leandro Lizar having to interfere. After the first half Carloforte f.c. were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
