Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Tigre's Saverio Perpinya started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Genaro Nataniel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arturo Gordo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 5 minutes into the match, PEÑAROL ORO Y CARBON's goal looked a bit too open when Arnaldo Lore came free, but Arturo Gordo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10th minute Genaro Nataniel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arturo Gordo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12thth minute of the game Saverio Perpinya who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PEÑAROL ORO Y CARBON's Arturo Gordo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcelo Zalayeta got free with Stefan Orlicki in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 16th minute, Gwyn Lawson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arturo Gordo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. José Perdomo kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. 25 minutes into the match, Gwyn Lawson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arturo Gordo. PEÑAROL ORO Y CARBON's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gwyn Lawson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Marcelo Zalayeta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stefan Orlicki having to interfere. After 32 minutes of play, Tigre's Gwyn Lawson made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arturo Gordo was left in no man's land by his defense there! PEÑAROL ORO Y CARBON's Arturo Gordo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gwyn Lawson in the 35th minute of play. 35 minutes into the game, Tigre's Gwyn Lawson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arturo Gordo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. Arturo Gordo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saverio Perpinya, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Arturo Gordo came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Tigre's Genaro Nataniel. But to his dismay, Genaro Nataniel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. After 43 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for PEÑAROL ORO Y CARBON! After some careless play in the PEÑAROL ORO Y CARBON defense, Genaro Nataniel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arturo Gordo. The PEÑAROL ORO Y CARBON fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arturo Gordo should have stopped the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-8 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marcelo Zalayeta to make the kick off. Saverio Perpinya was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 53rd minute. Tigre's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Saverio Perpinya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arturo Gordo came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Tigre's Saverio Perpinya. But to his dismay, Saverio Perpinya quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-9. In the 59th minute, Juan Teofilio made a precise shot to the right of Arturo Gordo. PEÑAROL ORO Y CARBON's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-10. PEÑAROL ORO Y CARBON's defense didn't have a chance, in the 62nd minute, when Saverio Perpinya scored to the left of an out of position Arturo Gordo, making the score, 0-11. A well placed Saverio Perpinya short distance shot in the 69th minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. After having played for 72 minutes, José Perdomo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PEÑAROL ORO Y CARBON's supporters crossed their fingers, but José Perdomo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With an all-out effort, Tigre's Arturo Gordo threw himself towards the right post 75 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Miguel Rojelio, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 78 minutes into the game, José Perdomo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. PEÑAROL ORO Y CARBON's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tigre the free kick. José Perdomo kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Arturo Gordo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saverio Perpinya, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arturo Gordo made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Arnaldo Lore sent off a good shot on target. Arturo Gordo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gwyn Lawson in the 87th minute of play. PEÑAROL ORO Y CARBON's defense didn't have a chance, in the 90th minute, when Saverio Perpinya scored to the left of an out of position Arturo Gordo, making the score, 0-15. With a little luck, PEÑAROL ORO Y CARBON's Arturo Gordo got control of the ball when Gwyn Lawson tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arnaldo Lore got free with Arturo Gordo in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arturo Gordo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gwyn Lawson, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. Tigre's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
