Cauan da Mata was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 11 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Los Chamos FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 10th minute. Penalty! Efrain Mascareñas scored 1-1 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Craig Argoud, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 15 minutes into the match, Barcelona Sporting Club's Pedro Artigue sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Craig Argoud narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Barcelona Sporting Club getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Cristian Garagorri hit a great ball. Craig Argoud showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guagua Respaldizar, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. 33 minutes into the match, Barcelona Sporting Club's Cristian Garagorri sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Craig Argoud narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Barcelona Sporting Club's Flavio Cura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geovânio Amaral in the 34th minute of play. Flavio Cura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geovânio Amaral, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. The audience was convinced that Geovânio Amaral's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Flavio Cura was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Isaac Hermon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Isaac Hermon fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Flavio Cura, passed just outside the right post. Flavio Cura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geovânio Amaral in the 55th minute of play. If Samuel Almaguer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Flavio Cura showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaac Hermon in the 61st minute of the match. Barcelona Sporting Club's defense didn't have a chance, in the 64th minute, when Geovânio Amaral scored to the left of an out of position Flavio Cura, making the score, 1-2. Barcelona Sporting Club's Flavio Cura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaac Hermon in the 68th minute of play. Isaac Hermon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Los Chamos FC were awarded a corner in the 75th minute after Barcelona Sporting Club's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Freddy Corderun took the corner. 77 minutes into the game, Bento Nurueña recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Flavio Cura. Bento Nurueña showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. Los Chamos FC's Marko Baul was substituted for Tiago Beranga. Isaac Hermon struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Flavio Cura didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Chamos FC. Samuel Almaguer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Flavio Cura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Barcelona Sporting Club getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Efrain Mascareñas hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Freddy Corderun managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Chamos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Freddy Corderun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Flavio Cura breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Los Chamos FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
