Jacobo Arnau was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from José Perdomo. Marcelo Zalayeta struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Jacobo Arnau didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PEÑAROL ORO Y CARBON. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelo Zalayeta in the 13th minute of play forced LOS PIRATAS's goalkeeper Jacobo Arnau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arturo Gordo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ambrosio Lopez, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Oscar Macho's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 16thth minute, Jacobo Arnau skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A collision led to PEÑAROL ORO Y CARBON getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. José Perdomo hit a great ball. Oscar Macho struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Jacobo Arnau didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PEÑAROL ORO Y CARBON. Oscar Macho received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jacobo Arnau came out and tried to block the shot, but Oscar Macho slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 22nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when José Perdomo got free with Jacobo Arnau in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Oscar Macho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in LOS PIRATAS's zone, Marcelo Zalayeta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacobo Arnau came out of the goal and Marcelo Zalayeta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Oscar Macho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Jacobo Arnau made a huge save. Jacobo Arnau was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Oscar Macho showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 31 minute of play. Jacobo Arnau stood somewhat misplaced when Marcelo Zalayeta came free in front of goal and shot 4-0 to the left of him in the 35 minute. Oscar Macho struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Jacobo Arnau didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PEÑAROL ORO Y CARBON. Jacobo Arnau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelo Zalayeta in the 41st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, LOS PIRATAS's Anastasio Presebal got a free kick in the 44th minute. Jacobo Arnau made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Oscar Macho sent off a good shot on target. 47 minutes into the match, LOS PIRATAS's goalkeeper Jacobo Arnau had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oscar Macho. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Severiano Bemabe to make the kick off. Jacobo Arnau came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by PEÑAROL ORO Y CARBON's Oscar Macho. But to his dismay, Oscar Macho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. The PEÑAROL ORO Y CARBON fans' excitement grew in the 54th match minute when PEÑAROL ORO Y CARBON's Oscar Macho looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jacobo Arnau took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oscar Macho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 63rd match minute, PEÑAROL ORO Y CARBON was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicolás Rotundo to maneuver through the defense. In the 64th minute, Nicolás Rotundo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 65 minutes into the game, PEÑAROL ORO Y CARBON's Marcelo Zalayeta nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jacobo Arnau made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. LOS PIRATAS's Jacobo Arnau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oscar Macho in the 71st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nicolás Rotundo in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacobo Arnau prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Oscar Macho in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacobo Arnau saved LOS PIRATAS from getting behind. When PEÑAROL ORO Y CARBON's Oscar Macho in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye LOS PIRATAS's goalie prevented a goal. In the 79th minute, Marcelo Zalayeta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Oscar Macho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Arnau having to interfere. After 82 minutes, Oscar Macho made it 8-0 with a short kick to the right side. LOS PIRATAS's Jacobo Arnau tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Oscar Macho put it in 9-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jacobo Arnau. 91 minutes into the match, LOS PIRATAS's goal looked a bit too open when José Perdomo came free, but Jacobo Arnau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nelson Gutiérrez took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 92nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jacobo Arnau. LOS PIRATAS's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Jacobo Arnau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelo Zalayeta in the 94th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Oscar Macho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jacobo Arnau was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. PEÑAROL ORO Y CARBON walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
