De-la-Cruz Avecilla hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pedro Artigue made a kick off. In the 57th match minute, Kerkyra FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Koulis Kouloucheris to maneuver through the defense. After 62 minutes of play, Kerkyra FC's Christos Giannou made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Flavio Cura was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Koulis Kouloucheris in the 67th minute of play forced Barcelona Sporting Club's goalkeeper Flavio Cura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. But to his dismay, De-la-Cruz Avecilla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. After 87 played minutes Barcelona Sporting Club got a freekick which was hit by De-la-Cruz Avecilla. Christos Giannou received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Flavio Cura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Flavio Cura didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Koulis Kouloucheris went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. For all the effort they put into the match, the Barcelona Sporting Club players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Kerkyra FC.
