Olle Tunander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Koulis Kouloucheris in the 2nd minute of play. Loukas Kois was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alfons Delin showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 5 minute of play. VfL Wolfsburg's Olle Tunander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Koulis Kouloucheris in the 7th minute of play. After 9 minutes of play, VfL Wolfsburg's Jerry Fristedt made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Loukas Kois was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 13th minute Patrick Albom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Loukas Kois saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zlatan Messi in the 16th minute of play forced VfL Wolfsburg's goalkeeper Olle Tunander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th match minute, VfL Wolfsburg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patrick Albom to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Koulis Kouloucheris in the 18th minute of play forced VfL Wolfsburg's goalkeeper Olle Tunander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Loukas Kois came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by VfL Wolfsburg's Jerry Fristedt. But to his dismay, Jerry Fristedt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Olle Tunander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giorgos Maragozis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 24 minutes into the match, VfL Wolfsburg's goal looked a bit too open when Christos Giannou came free, but Olle Tunander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th match minute, Kerkyra FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giorgos Maragozis to maneuver through the defense. Christos Giannou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Olle Tunander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Koulis Kouloucheris, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. After having played for 34 minutes, Alfons Delin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. VfL Wolfsburg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfons Delin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Kerkyra FC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Thanos Papagiannopoulos hit a great ball. Eutichios Dridakis kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Kerkyra FC's Loukas Kois played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerry Fristedt in the 41st minute of play. Kim Torstensson hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. 44 minutes into the match, VfL Wolfsburg's goal looked a bit too open when Zlatan Messi came free, but Olle Tunander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jerry Fristedt stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Kerkyra FC's Christos Giannou ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Olle Tunander. Olle Tunander yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zlatan Messi in the 56th minute of play forced VfL Wolfsburg's goalkeeper Olle Tunander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kerkyra FC's Loukas Kois played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patrick Albom in the 59th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Koulis Kouloucheris got free with Olle Tunander in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Zlatan Messi put it in 3-2 from a short distance just to the right of Olle Tunander. Loukas Kois showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jerry Fristedt in the 69th minute of the match. Kim Torstensson kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Koulis Kouloucheris, 71 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Christos Giannou hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. VfL Wolfsburg's Olle Tunander proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save VfL Wolfsburg from getting a goal against them. In the 95th minute Alfons Delin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Loukas Kois saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kerkyra FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
