With an extended leg and a bit of luck Beppe Savoia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 29 minutes into the match, Kerkyra FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arturo De Vito came free, but Loukas Kois reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Loukas Kois made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arturo De Vito in the 31st minute of play. In the 36th minute Zlatan Messi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beppe Savoia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Kerkyra FC's Loukas Kois played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elia Ritacco in the 54th minute of play.
