Through an outstanding action, after 26 minutes, Jacobo Arnau successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a defensive mix-up in LOS PIRATAS's zone, Alfons Delin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacobo Arnau came out of the goal and Alfons Delin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind LOS PIRATAS's goalkeeper Jacobo Arnau, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Olle Tunander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severiano Bemabe in the 33rd minute of play. LOS PIRATAS's Jacobo Arnau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfons Delin in the 37th minute of play. The LOS PIRATAS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jacobo Arnau should have stopped the shot. 60 minutes into the game, Alfons Delin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Jacobo Arnau was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 63rdth minute of the game Alfons Delin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but LOS PIRATAS's Jacobo Arnau was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the LOS PIRATAS players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for VfL Wolfsburg.
