Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Oscar Macho made the kick off which started today's match. After having played for 2 minutes, Nataniel Senderos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PEÑAROL ORO Y CARBON's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nataniel Senderos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 4th minute Nataniel Senderos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Cura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 7 minutes into the game, Barcelona Sporting Club's Guagua Respaldizar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arturo Gordo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oscar Macho in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Flavio Cura prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Garcia Pestaña kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Guagua Respaldizar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arturo Gordo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. Arturo Gordo came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Barcelona Sporting Club's Pedro Artigue. But to his dismay, Pedro Artigue quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 22 minutes into the match, PEÑAROL ORO Y CARBON's goal looked a bit too open when Guagua Respaldizar came free, but Arturo Gordo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 24 minutes PEÑAROL ORO Y CARBON's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Efrain Mascareñas who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Efrain Mascareñas got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Arturo Gordo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 29th minute De-la-Cruz Avecilla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arturo Gordo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Pedro Artigue had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 34th minute Oscar Macho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Cura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes had been played when some careless play by Barcelona Sporting Club's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Paolo Montero was slow to take the kick. During this time PEÑAROL ORO Y CARBON's players had a chance to rest. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Oscar Macho took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Flavio Cura to make any attempt to save it. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Pedro Artigue made the kick off in the second half. Nataniel Senderos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Flavio Cura having to make a save. In the 53rd minute, Efrain Mascareñas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. PEÑAROL ORO Y CARBON's Paolo Montero got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. José Perdomo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 60th minute, Martin Ludeña hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Flavio Cura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oscar Macho, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Oscar Macho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nataniel Senderos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 90th minute, Pedro Artigue got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 97 played minutes PEÑAROL ORO Y CARBON got a freekick which was hit by Serafin García. When the referee blew the final whistle, PEÑAROL ORO Y CARBON could leave the field as winners, despite Barcelona Sporting Club having more of the ball for most of the match.
