After 14 played minutes LOS PIRATAS got a freekick which was hit by Ambrosio Lopez. Nereo Cordeiro, 15 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Israel Dalmai kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Ezequiel Salamon's late challenge caught a LOS PIRATAS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Dante Playo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atletico ALMA's supporters rose to their feet, but Dante Playo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jacobo Arnau breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 58 minutes, Sixto Isaio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atletico ALMA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sixto Isaio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Atletico ALMA booed when LOS PIRATAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baldomiro Casado didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Teodosio Salomone fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LOS PIRATAS's protests and gave Teodosio Salomone a yellow card for diving instead. Teodosio Salomone hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. After 63 minutes, Baldomiro Casado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the LOS PIRATAS and the Atletico ALMA players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in LOS PIRATAS's zone, Dante Playo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacobo Arnau came out of the goal and Dante Playo tried to chip the ball over his head. In a very dangerous position, a player in Atletico ALMA fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 72nd minute. Penalty! Albano Pinto had in the 73rdth minute some difficulties stopping Ceferino Heriberto's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Moises Luken sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Teodosio Salomone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Albano Pinto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodosio Salomone, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. In the 91st minute, Nicolas Benvido hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 92nd minute, Teodosio Salomone got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 96 minutes, Sixto Isaio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atletico ALMA and the LOS PIRATAS players grew even worse after the yellow card.
