Feliberto Bittor didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Horacio Confesor went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Segundo Dino's late challenge caught a La Zabaleta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Segundo Dino helped the player get up and apologised. Segundo Dino hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Filomeno Arano struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Faustino Horado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Zabaleta. Feliberto Bittor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcial Maore in the 31st minute of play. Orlando Guipuzkoa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Feliberto Bittor having to interfere. Feliberto Bittor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcial Maore in the 37th minute of the match. 40 minutes into the game, Eriberto Raymond was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La Zabaleta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ᴄʟᴜʙ ᴀᴛʟᴇᴛɪᴄᴏ ᴛᴜᴄᴜᴍᴀɴ the free kick. In the 40th match minute, La Zabaleta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eriberto Raymond to maneuver through the defense. In the 43rd minute Orlando Guipuzkoa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feliberto Bittor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eriberto Raymond stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Horacio Confesor left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ᴄʟᴜʙ ᴀᴛʟᴇᴛɪᴄᴏ ᴛᴜᴄᴜᴍᴀɴ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. A collision led to La Zabaleta getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Eriberto Raymond hit a great ball. 65 minutes into the match, La Zabaleta's goal looked a bit too open when Marcial Maore came free, but Feliberto Bittor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Feliberto Bittor managed to avoid a goal in the 66thth minute, when ᴄʟᴜʙ ᴀᴛʟᴇᴛɪᴄᴏ ᴛᴜᴄᴜᴍᴀɴ's Horacio Confesor fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Feliberto Bittor made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Orlando Guipuzkoa sent off a good shot on target. Feliberto Bittor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcial Maore, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, La Zabaleta's Feliberto Bittor got control of the ball when Rene Henric tried to sneak it across the goal line. Feliberto Bittor was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Marcial Maore showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-7 in the 94 minute of play. When the final whistle sounded ᴄʟᴜʙ ᴀᴛʟᴇᴛɪᴄᴏ ᴛᴜᴄᴜᴍᴀɴ left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than La Zabaleta.
