An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentin Neron in the 7th minute of play forced ᴄʟᴜʙ ᴀᴛʟᴇᴛɪᴄᴏ ᴛᴜᴄᴜᴍᴀɴ's goalkeeper Faustino Horado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guido Luar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodoro Salomon in the 9th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Valentin Neron got free with Faustino Horado in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Los Gallos's Teodosio Montxo got a free kick in the 15th minute. Los Gallos's Guido Luar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orlando Guipuzkoa in the 16th minute of play. Guido Luar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodoro Salomon in the 18th minute of play. In the 20th minute Eulalio Bilintx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Faustino Horado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elpidio Raebert hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. ᴄʟᴜʙ ᴀᴛʟᴇᴛɪᴄᴏ ᴛᴜᴄᴜᴍᴀɴ's Faustino Horado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save ᴄʟᴜʙ ᴀᴛʟᴇᴛɪᴄᴏ ᴛᴜᴄᴜᴍᴀɴ from getting a goal against them. Faustino Horado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eulalio Bilintx, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gaspar Chuse's late challenge caught a Los Gallos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gaspar Chuse helped the player get up and apologised. In the 32nd match minute, ᴄʟᴜʙ ᴀᴛʟᴇᴛɪᴄᴏ ᴛᴜᴄᴜᴍᴀɴ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaspar Chuse to maneuver through the defense. Faustino Horado didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eulalio Bilintx went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eulalio Bilintx made a kick off. Valentin Neron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faustino Horado having to interfere. In the 61st minute Fernando Osoitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Faustino Horado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Los Gallos's Guido Luar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodoro Salomon in the 83rd minute of play. In the 86th minute, Orlando Guipuzkoa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Faustino Horado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Osoitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 89 minutes into the game, Valentin Neron cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Faustino Horado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Los Gallos made a substitution. Ramon Corderun replaced Salvador Aballe. Orlando Guipuzkoa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the ᴄʟᴜʙ ᴀᴛʟᴇᴛɪᴄᴏ ᴛᴜᴄᴜᴍᴀɴ players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Los Gallos.
