Valentin Neron charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Valentin Neron the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Valentin Neron kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. 27 minutes into the game, Los Gallos's Valentin Neron nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bebeto Campidelis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 34 minutes into the match, Los Gallos's goal looked a bit too open when Aloísio Chulapa came free, but Guido Luar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Divina Comédia FC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Nilton Veiga hit a great ball. 38 minutes into the match, Divina Comédia FC's goalkeeper Bebeto Campidelis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fernando Osoitz. After a defensive mix-up in Los Gallos's zone, Aloísio Chulapa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guido Luar came out of the goal and Aloísio Chulapa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 41st minute, Teodosio Montxo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Divina Comédia FC booed when Los Gallos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eulalio Francesco didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Fabiano Gøl in the 43rd minute of play forced Los Gallos's goalkeeper Guido Luar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 46th minute, Los Gallos's Valentin Neron ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bebeto Campidelis. Bebeto Campidelis yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The supporters of Los Gallos booed when Divina Comédia FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nilton Veiga didn't get a good kick on the ball. But to his dismay, Eulalio Bilintx quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. 81 minutes into the match, Los Gallos's goalkeeper Guido Luar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luiz Fabiano Gøl. Guido Luar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Fabiano Gøl, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. In the 85th minute Eulalio Bilintx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bebeto Campidelis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fernando Osoitz scored 7-0 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bebeto Campidelis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Váldson Lopes hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Los Gallos's Valentin Neron got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. For all the effort they put into the match, the Divina Comédia FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Los Gallos.
