Isaias Lesardo started the match with the kick off. Christian Jerrald fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvestre Toribio having to interfere. In the 5th minute, Isaias Lesardo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Silvestre Toribio. The goal made the score 1-0. Angelino Cebo's late challenge caught a Formentera's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Angelino Cebo helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Pegaso getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Angelino Cebo hit a great ball. After 11 played minutes Formentera got a freekick which was hit by Simon Nikola. Pascual Loiola's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Prudencio Otsoko read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Formentera's Prudencio Otsoko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teo Phelipe in the 15th minute of play. In the 18th minute, Teo Phelipe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Arnulfo Seme in the 18th minute really tested Silvestre Toribio's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Silvestre Toribio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaias Lesardo in the 23rd minute of play. Prudencio Otsoko came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Pegaso's Angelino Cebo. But to his dismay, Angelino Cebo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The supporters of Formentera booed when Pegaso was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anselmo Iraido didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Pegaso's Silvestre Toribio got control of the ball when Christian Jerrald tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 44 minutes, Eloy Sazon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pegaso and the Formentera players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 44 played minutes Pegaso got a freekick which was hit by Eloy Sazon. After 45 played minutes Pegaso got a freekick which was hit by Eloy Sazon. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Anselmo Iraido was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 52 minutes into the match. A collision led to Pegaso getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Anselmo Iraido hit a great ball. Robustiano Policarpio didn't quite understand what happened when in the 54 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Silvestre Toribio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Jerrald in the 65th minute of play. Pascual Loiola recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pascual Loiola kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Silvestre Toribio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaias Lesardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Silvestre Toribio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaias Lesardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Pegaso booed when Formentera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Hernandez didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Pegaso's Fermin Deunoro in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Formentera's goalie prevented a goal. In the 92nd match minute, Pegaso was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eloy Sazon to maneuver through the defense. Silvestre Toribio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Isaias Lesardo went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score.
