In the 11th minute of the match Nano Mitrashkov sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bebeto Campidelis skillfully saved the ball. Vute Baliev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aloísio Chulapa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gonzo Ivanov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Bebeto Campidelis made a huge save. Divina Comédia FC's Bebeto Campidelis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonzo Ivanov in the 40th minute of play. Bebeto Campidelis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gonzo Ivanov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 44th match minute, DARAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iliya Kasabov to maneuver through the defense. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Toni Nenchev was the one to do the kick off. Bebeto Campidelis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonzo Ivanov in the 59th minute of play. In the 61st minute, Toni Nenchev made a precise shot to the right of Bebeto Campidelis. Divina Comédia FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in DARAS's zone, Geraldo Prado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vute Baliev came out of the goal and Geraldo Prado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vute Baliev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Fabiano Gøl in the 66th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Toni Nenchev in the 67th minute of play forced Divina Comédia FC's goalkeeper Bebeto Campidelis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. DARAS's Nano Mitrashkov managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by José Paulo Negri in the 74 minute of the game. Paolo Rossi kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Fabiano Gøl in the 78th minute of play forced DARAS's goalkeeper Vute Baliev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Divina Comédia FC's Bebeto Campidelis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonzo Ivanov in the 84th minute of play. Bebeto Campidelis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nano Mitrashkov in the 92nd minute of the match. In the 94th minute Paolo Rossi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bebeto Campidelis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bebeto Campidelis came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by DARAS's Paolo Rossi. But to his dismay, Paolo Rossi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. DARAS's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
