Guido Luar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After a rather tough play, 卡納里尼奧 FC's Sidnei Dionísio got a free kick in the 47th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eliseu Alagoano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Agostinho Guedes took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Guido Luar. Guido Luar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. A collision led to Los Gallos getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Elpidio Raebert hit a great ball. Guido Luar was a little too slow when Eliseu Alagoano got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 75th minute. The score was now 1-4. The supporters of Los Gallos booed when 卡納里尼奧 FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Célio Albuquerque didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 82nd match minute, Los Gallos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eulalio Francesco to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Los Gallos's Guido Luar got control of the ball when Severino da Cunha tried to sneak it across the goal line.
