Armindo Salgado was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Silvano Cibran showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 10 minute of play. When Zapniów's Stefan Gerlach in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye VB-Team's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stefan Gerlach in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Armindo Salgado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 31st minute, Shao Kun Yuan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 32nd minute Silvano Cibran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armindo Salgado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zapniów's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mithat Adıvar in the 34th minute. The corner ended in Mithat Adıvar almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but VB-Team's Armindo Salgado did a great save. VB-Team's Armindo Salgado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvano Cibran in the 36th minute of play. Luís Caeiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Boguslaw Jaraczewski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. 40 minutes had been played when some careless play by Zapniów's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Álvaro Rezende was slow to take the kick. During this time VB-Team's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on VB-Team's corner Álvaro Rezende fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Boguslaw Jaraczewski quite easily take care of the ball. Zapniów were awarded a corner in the 47th minute after VB-Team's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mithat Adıvar took the corner. The corner ended in Mithat Adıvar almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but VB-Team's Armindo Salgado did a great save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.
