Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jaime Pardo took the kick off in the first half of the match. Jacobo Nores took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gian-Carlo Van Damme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Airborne FC's Hélio Terra managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Juan Diego Tenorio in the 10 minute of the game. In the 11th minute, Jaime Pardo made a precise shot to the right of Basílio Meira. Airborne FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. If Jaime Pardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 19 minutes into the match, Airborne FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jaime Pardo came free, but Basílio Meira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paraguay were awarded a corner in the 21th minute after Airborne FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jaime Pardo took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Hector Covarrubias got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Basílio Meira quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a rather tough play, Airborne FC's Alfredo Braga got a free kick in the 31st minute. Basílio Meira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jaime Pardo went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. In the 41st minute Hector Covarrubias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basílio Meira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hector Covarrubias struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Basílio Meira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paraguay. Airborne FC's Basílio Meira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Pardo in the 44th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Wanderson Silveira made the kick off in the second half. Hector Covarrubias came free with the goalkeeper in the 53rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Basílio Meira could save by the left post. In the 56th match minute, Paraguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hector Covarrubias to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Paraguay booed when Airborne FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oséas Tinoco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jaime Pardo scored 0-4 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Basílio Meira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Basílio Meira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Pardo in the 64th minute of play. Hector Covarrubias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Basílio Meira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Basílio Meira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Pardo in the 67th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jaime Pardo in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Basílio Meira saved Airborne FC from getting behind. Percival de Mendonça hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Basílio Meira was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Hector Covarrubias showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 76 minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, Jaime Pardo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Basílio Meira, 0-6. 85 minutes into the match, Airborne FC's goalkeeper Basílio Meira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jaime Pardo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Primitivo Escribano in the 86th minute of play forced Airborne FC's goalkeeper Basílio Meira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Jaime Pardo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Basílio Meira. That made the score 0-7 in the 89 minute of play. Jaime Pardo took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Basílio Meira. Basílio Meira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-8. Paraguay's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
