The score was now 0-5. 74 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Justus Lintorf came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 75 minutes, the score became 1-5 when Justus Lintorf sped through Ecuador's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Julio Vera. C. A.
