Loco Malo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Olgierd Karanowski kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Loco Malo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cleto Firmin. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Murillo in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Loco Malo saved Lagrima en Jarrita from getting behind. After some careless play in the Lagrima en Jarrita defense, Julian Murillo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Loco Malo. The Lagrima en Jarrita fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Loco Malo should have stopped the shot. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonello Messias in the 45th minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, Luz Tejedor notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Lagrima en Jarrita's Loco Malo. Loco Malo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cleto Firmin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Lagrima en Jarrita's goalkeeper Loco Malo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luz Tejedor. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ma Mo Feng, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Milagros Fraga struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Loco Malo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Peru. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. Loco Malo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Gallo, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute.
