Through an outstanding action, after 18 minutes, Jonathan Ferrant successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jose Correa got a free kick in the 20th minute. Guillermo Mariano charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Guillermo Mariano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Venezuela fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 20th minute. Penalty! Venezuela:s Jonathan Ferrant showed great skill when he stopped Geovani Coutinho:s penalty. Nildo Chaves succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 23rd playminute. 31 minutes into the match, COURO COME FC's goal looked a bit too open when Patricio Costa came free, but Léo Sampaio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A well placed Nildo Chaves short distance shot in the 46th minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nildo Chaves to strike the kick off in the second half. Léo Sampaio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Guto Vaz struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. COURO COME FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nildo Chaves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 68th minute Iuri Cardozo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
