Luís Fabiano Vaz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Francisco Seco in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luís Fabiano Vaz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Joaquin Gayoso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sebastião Xavier in the 26th minute. 29 minutes into the game, Kevin Carballal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Uruguay's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ARON FC the free kick. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Kevin Carballal hit a great ball. Sebastião Xavier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Joaquin Gayoso made a huge save. The supporters of ARON FC booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kevin Carballal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joaquin Gayoso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edu Proença went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. After 44 minutes, Sebastião Xavier made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Francisco Seco made a kick off. Jorginho Mattos hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Uruguay's zone, Sebastião Xavier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquin Gayoso came out of the goal and Sebastião Xavier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edu Proença fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Gayoso having to interfere. ARON FC made a substitution. Manuel Bueno replaced Sebastião Xavier. Luís Fabiano Vaz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Francisco Seco in the 64th minute. Luís Fabiano Vaz was out of position in the 65 minute of play, and Maximiliano Escribano capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Maximiliano Escribano really showed his touch with that goal: 3-2. Kevin Carballal kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Uruguay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Manuel Bueno was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-2. ARON FC's Manuel Bueno got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edu Proença in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joaquin Gayoso saved Uruguay from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Uruguay's Kevin Carballal got a free kick in the 90th minute. Francisco Seco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Fabiano Vaz having to interfere. Oséas Rosa kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. ARON FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
