An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 8th minute of play forced COURO COME FC's goalkeeper Léo Sampaio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 12 minutes into the match, COURO COME FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Léo Sampaio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute, Guto Vaz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonel Koehler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Leonel Koehler managed to get in a good position for a shot. COURO COME FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonel Koehler was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nildo Chaves in the 35th minute. COURO COME FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Geovani Coutinho in the 36th minute. Nildo Chaves who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 42ndth minute tested the skills of Julio Vera when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

COURO COME FC's Léo Sampaio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save COURO COME FC from getting a goal against them. 68 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Iuri Cardozo came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Luis Andino got a free kick in the 80th minute. Léo Sampaio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Léo Sampaio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luis Andino went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. With an all-out effort, Ecuador's Léo Sampaio threw himself towards the right post 86 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Luis Andino, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 88th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. COURO COME FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Daniel Zorita managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 91 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ecuador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave COURO COME FC the free kick. If Guto Vaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. COURO COME FC's Léo Sampaio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save COURO COME FC from getting a goal against them. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
