Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Victor Huștiu started the match with the kick off. ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Aron Zgrăbunţa got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Aron Zgrăbunţa got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eric Ţirpescu kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. In the 15th minute, Patricio Costa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Victor Huștiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 18 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Patricio Costa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rosendo Seguinus narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 19 played minutes ASF BAIA MARE -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Eric Ţirpescu. Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rosendo Seguinus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciprian Sângeorzan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. When Aron Zgrăbunţa came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the ASF BAIA MARE -MM- fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aron Zgrăbunţa couldn't finish the play. The supporters of ASF BAIA MARE -MM- booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Venegas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rosendo Seguinus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 47th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. With his leg Rosendo Seguinus managed to avoid a goal in the 52ndth minute, when Venezuela's Tomas Illescas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Aron Zgrăbunţa took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Aron Zgrăbunţa got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Huștiu in the 71st minute of play. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciprian Sângeorzan in the 73rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Victor Huștiu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Victor Huștiu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 81st minute Aron Zgrăbunţa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ernest Petru hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rosendo Seguinus having to interfere. Aron Zgrăbunţa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 96 played minutes ASF BAIA MARE -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Eric Ţirpescu. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. ASF BAIA MARE -MM- fully deserved thier win.
