In the 7th minute, Geovanni Gomes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Damaso Lain, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 9 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Carlos Dracena was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Damaso Lain who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 13thth minute tested the skills of Carlos Dracena when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Damaso Lain's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 13thth minute, Carlos Dracena skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 14 minutes into the game, Damaso Lain recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Carlos Dracena. Damaso Lain showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 17th play minute Damaso Lain came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Carlos Dracena. 2-0. Guarani MZC's Carlos Dracena proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Guarani MZC from getting a goal against them. Carlos Dracena was a little too slow when Damaso Lain got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 23rd minute. The score was now 3-0. After 28 minutes Guarani MZC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Hillar Tuus who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Hillar Tuus almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Guarani MZC's Carlos Dracena did a great save. Carlos Dracena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damaso Lain, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Damaso Lain spun around in front of the goal 32 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Guarani MZC's goal. In the 35th minute Guarani MZC were awarded a corner. Léo Penha went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Léo Penha almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Cityzens Mdz's Melkior Thorslev did a great save. In the 38th minute Sixto Larra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Dracena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 40 in the game by Damaso Lain from a close distance when the talented Carlos Dracena managed to make a qualified save. Guarani MZC's players were relieved. The throw-in from Angelo Pirani in the 41st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Cityzens Mdz's Alberto Argider. If Bruno Coutinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cityzens Mdz's Damaso Lain got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Carlos Dracena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damaso Lain in the 52nd minute of play. Carlos Dracena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sixto Larra in the 54th minute of the match. 55 minutes into the game, Angelo Pirani threw the ball into play from the sideline. Cityzens Mdz's Alberto Argider quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 60th minute, Damaso Lain left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cityzens Mdz fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damaso Lain in the 64th minute of play forced Guarani MZC's goalkeeper Carlos Dracena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Damaso Lain's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carlos Dracena read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. Cityzens Mdz's Alberto Argider quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Angelo Pirani, made in the 70th minute of the game. Damaso Lain might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carlos Dracena. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Damaso Lain ran back to his position shaking his head. 76 minutes into the game, Cityzens Mdz's Damaso Lain nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carlos Dracena made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. In the 78th match minute, Guarani MZC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelo Pirani to maneuver through the defense. 80 minutes into the match, Damaso Lain had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carlos Dracena. Guarani MZC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Damaso Lain was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. Cityzens Mdz made a substitution. Bruno Kaiet replaced Alberto Argider. In the 87thth minute of the game Damaso Lain who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guarani MZC's Carlos Dracena was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Cityzens Mdz's Damaso Lain in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Guarani MZC's goalie prevented a goal. Cityzens Mdz made a substitution. Eloy Urdin replaced Doroteo Arango. Cityzens Mdz were awarded a corner in the 91th minute after Guarani MZC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hillar Tuus took the corner. Carlos Dracena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damaso Lain, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Cityzens Mdz's Angel Orlandus was substituted for Hillar Tuus. When the referee ended the match the Cityzens Mdz players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
