Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The audience was convinced that Guillaume Laurent Benmabrouk's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Camilo Gisbert hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Luis Andino was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. 72 minutes into the match, Lennart Bäckström had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lennart Bäckström was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lennart Bäckström in the 74th minute of the match. Lennart Bäckström took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. In the 76th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Zorita to maneuver through the defense. When Luis Andino came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luis Andino couldn't finish the play. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guillaume Laurent Benmabrouk in the 91st minute of the match. In the 96th minute, Daniel Zorita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. THE OLD BOYS were victorious despite being under pressure from Ecuador for much of the match.
