A collision led to New Wave FC getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Vernon Winstanley hit a great ball. In the 9th minute Dave Henwood shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Arquett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, New Wave FC's Vernon Winstanley got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 11th minute, Sebastian Jayvier left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mercado Paulista F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Mercado Paulista F.C's Frans Larsfelt got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jonathan Fuller made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sebastian Jayvier in the 21st minute. Fernando Arquett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ashley Linkletter in the 22nd minute of the match. 24 minutes into the match, Mercado Paulista F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Kaye came free, but Fernando Arquett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th of the match, Sebastian Jayvier tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Jonathan Fuller got in the way and made a wonderful save. 30 minutes had been played when some careless play by New Wave FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jonathan Arixo was slow to take the kick. During this time Mercado Paulista F.C's players had a chance to rest. Mercado Paulista F.C's Jonathan Arixo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jonathan Fuller in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Jonathan Fuller didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sebastian Jayvier went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Jayvier in the 40th minute of play forced New Wave FC's goalkeeper Jonathan Fuller to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Fuller didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sebastian Jayvier went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Telo Estruch hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Mercado Paulista F.C's Cristian de Lima was substituted for Sebastian Jayvier. The supporters of New Wave FC booed when Mercado Paulista F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 49 match minutes in a wonderful position. Telo Estruch didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dave Henwood to strike the kick off in the second half. When Frans Larsfelt came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Mercado Paulista F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frans Larsfelt couldn't finish the play. Tommy Edgson charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tommy Edgson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Tommy Edgson hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Jonathan Fuller showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian de Lima, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Cristian de Lima took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Fuller. Jonathan Fuller dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. When the match clock showed 68 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Cristian de Lima sped through New Wave FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Fuller. Jonathan Fuller stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristian de Lima's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. Tommy Edgson kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Mercado Paulista F.C's Paulino Elequemedo was substituted for Frans Larsfelt. Cristian de Lima took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Fuller. Jonathan Fuller dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. 83 minutes into the game, Mercado Paulista F.C's Cristian de Lima nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Fuller made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. Cristian de Lima's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Fuller read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. 97 minutes into the game, Cristian de Lima cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-0. Jonathan Fuller was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
