With 8 minutes on the clock, Emanuel Ocampo commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 9 minutes into the match, Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Victor Félix. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Milagros Cabal hit a great ball. With a little luck, Honduras's Lautaro Navarro got control of the ball when Edu Cardozo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lautaro Navarro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Victor Félix in the 19th minute. Ivan Navarro hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. In the 22nd minute, Edu Cardozo made a precise shot to the right of Lautaro Navarro. Honduras's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Sebastian Villa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 28 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Edu Cardozo came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edu Cardozo in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lautaro Navarro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Honduras's attentive Christian Sancho managed to snatch the ball when eAntonio Gallardo made a throw-in in the 40th minute of the game. With an all-out effort, Kröll BK's Lautaro Navarro threw himself towards the right post 41 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Edu Cardozo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 42 minutes had been played when some careless play by Honduras's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Victor Félix was slow to take the kick. During this time Kröll BK's players had a chance to rest. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Edu Cardozo advanced and headed the ball into goal, 2-0 in the 43rd minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Honduras's Sebastian Villa got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sebastian Villa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastián Trejos having to interfere. In the 61st minute, Edu Cardozo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kröll BK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. In the 67th minute Victor Félix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sebastian Villa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sebastián Trejos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. Lautaro Navarro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edu Cardozo's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. When Sebastian Villa came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Honduras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sebastian Villa couldn't finish the play. Kröll BK made a substitution. Georg Örnberg replaced Pepito Arrelucea. Jan Vennerlund blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lautaro Navarro having to make a save. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edu Cardozo in the 93rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edu Cardozo in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lautaro Navarro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Sebastian Villa got a free kick in the 95th minute.
