Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Francisco Seco made the kick off which started today's match. Afşar Uzgoren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Seco in the 6th minute of the match. After 7 played minutes Galatasaray got a freekick which was hit by Arkadiusz Wawrukiewicz. Kryspin Kasprzykowski hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. 9 minutes into the game, Uruguay's Maximiliano Escribano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Afşar Uzgoren made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 12 minutes into the match, Galatasaray's Vladimir Alferov sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joaquin Gayoso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Joaquin Gayoso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vladimir Alferov went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. In the 22nd minute, Francisco Seco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Uruguay fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Vladimir Alferov struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Joaquin Gayoso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Galatasaray. A sloppy throw-in by Kryspin Kasprzykowski in the 36th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Uruguay's Alberto Gisbert. Galatasaray's Afşar Uzgoren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Cazalla in the 39th minute of play. After 41 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Kevin Carballal. Joaquin Gayoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonid Gulyaev, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Alberto Gisbert made in the 44th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Galatasaray's Artur Breev.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vladimir Alferov was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes in the game Jaime Cazalla did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Alberto Gisbert. 56 minutes into the match, Galatasaray's goalkeeper Afşar Uzgoren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Francisco Seco. 59 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Vladimir Alferov came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Petr Blokhin hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Vladislav Apostolov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Galatasaray getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Arkadiusz Wawrukiewicz hit a great ball. In the 84th match minute, Galatasaray was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Artur Breev to maneuver through the defense. When Vladimir Alferov came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Galatasaray fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vladimir Alferov couldn't finish the play. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vladimir Alferov in the 92nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Uruguay's zone, Vladislav Apostolov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquin Gayoso came out of the goal and Vladislav Apostolov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Uruguay players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Galatasaray from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
