The referee ignored Doug Zappa F.C.'s protests and gave Adriano Soeiro a yellow card for diving instead. In the 6thth minute of the game Tomas Illescas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Doug Zappa F.C.'s Iwan Kolbe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jonas Domingues received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jonathan Ferrant came out and tried to block the shot, but Jonas Domingues slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 8th minute. Frank Siqueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iwan Kolbe having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Doug Zappa F.C.'s Adriano Soeiro got a free kick in the 23rd minute. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 25th minute, but Jonathan Ferrant got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Venezuela hanging dry this time. After 26 minutes Venezuela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jonas Domingues who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Doug Zappa F.C.'s Jonas Domingues to fire away a dangerous shot which Jonathan Ferrant despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Domingues in the 34th minute of play. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iwan Kolbe having to interfere. Norberto Nóbrega fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. André Luís Alvarenga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iwan Kolbe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 40th minute of play. Iwan Kolbe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. In the 59th minute, Jonas Domingues got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jonas Domingues recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Doug Zappa F.C. booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Gaos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomas Illescas in the 66thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Iwan Kolbe, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Guillermo Mariano kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Jonathan Venegas kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. In the 72nd match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Venegas to maneuver through the defense. 73 minutes into the match, Frank Siqueira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Frank Siqueira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Norberto Nóbrega fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. 79 minutes into the match, Doug Zappa F.C.'s goalkeeper Iwan Kolbe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. In the 81st minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 83 minutes into the match, Doug Zappa F.C.'s goalkeeper Iwan Kolbe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. Tomas Illescas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 87thth minute, Iwan Kolbe skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Adriano Soeiro was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 91 minutes had been played. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Doug Zappa F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adriano Soeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 92 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Venegas. In the 93rd minute Frank Siqueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 95 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when André Luís Alvarenga came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Venezuela's Patricio Costa shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 97th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Iwan Kolbe but with some difficulty. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Doug Zappa F.C. fans cheered their team off the field, for while Venezuela had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
