Cristiano Lewandowski started the match with the kick off. Cristiano Lewandowski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without André Courtois having to make a save. If Cristiano Lewandowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristiano Lewandowski in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck André Courtois prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Jonathan Sammut had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Albérico Bernardes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Márk Kovács's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. 14 minutes into the match, VN Ultra Spartak's Cristiano Lewandowski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that André Courtois narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Márk Kovács's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Albérico Bernardes was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. After 16 minutes, Márk Kovács made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. VN Ultra Spartak's Albérico Bernardes tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of VN Ultra Spartak booed when Templars FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Márk Kovács didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Jonathan Sammut came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Templars FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonathan Sammut couldn't finish the play. Cristiano Lewandowski scored 1-1 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of André Courtois, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cristiano Lewandowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. André Courtois tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd minute Cristiano Lewandowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Courtois saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Sammut's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Albérico Bernardes firmly grabbed it by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristiano Lewandowski in the 35th minute of play forced Templars FC's goalkeeper André Courtois to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Cristiano Lewandowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Templars FC's Evan Vancell got a free kick in the 39th minute. 45 minutes into the match, Templars FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristiano Lewandowski came free, but André Courtois reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Templars FC's André Courtois played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristiano Lewandowski in the 48th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jonathan Sammut was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Jonathan Sammut cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Albérico Bernardes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. VN Ultra Spartak's Albérico Bernardes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonathan Sammut in the 59th minute of play. After a rather tough play, VN Ultra Spartak's Slavi Borisov got a free kick in the 60th minute. In the 64thth minute of the game Jonathan Sammut who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but VN Ultra Spartak's Albérico Bernardes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Templars FC's Lawrence Buontempo was substituted for Jack Nicholson. If Jonathan Sammut had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Albérico Bernardes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Staffan Apelqvist in the 73rd minute of play. Albérico Bernardes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonathan Sammut, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Albérico Bernardes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Márk Kovács in the 84th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Templars FC's Ritchie Engelborgh got a free kick in the 85th minute. 91 minutes into the game, Ritchie Engelborgh threw the ball into play from the sideline. VN Ultra Spartak's Slavi Borisov quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. A throw-in in the 92nd minute of the game was made by Ritchie Engelborgh with Ziya Onur Muzaffer as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
