Colosos Afc's Jess Johnson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 19th minute of play. After 22 played minutes Colosos Afc got a freekick which was hit by Jimeno Abancens. In the 23rd minute of the match Daniel Zorita sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jess Johnson skillfully saved the ball. Jess Johnson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 27 minutes into the match, Colosos Afc's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Jess Johnson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Modesto Sugar hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Gogo Florinio sent off a good shot on target. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gogo Florinio in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. If Modesto Sugar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 54 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice moves Daniel Zorita could shoot a difficult shot in the 57th minute, which Jess Johnson however easily saved by the left post. Agustín Saelices's late challenge caught a Colosos Afc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Agustín Saelices helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Agustín Saelices got a free kick in the 58th minute. Gogo Florinio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Colosos Afc's Jess Johnson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 63rd minute of play. After having played for 86 minutes, Gogo Florinio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jess Johnson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jess Johnson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 95th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Ecuador walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
