He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Venezuela's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 27 minutes into the game, Randers A.F.C.'s Rene Rostholm nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Rene Rostholm took a quick shot and it went in 6-0 without a chance for Jonathan Ferrant to make any attempt to save it. In the 42nd match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Gaos to maneuver through the defense. After 47 played minutes Rene Rostholm rounded Venezuela's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 7-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 7-0.
