Joaquin Gayoso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elvis Töpfer's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. With splendid footwork Elvis Töpfer arrived in front of goal to shoot 2-1 by the left pole in the game's 16th minute. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elvis Töpfer in the 21st minute of play. Rafael Heintz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elvis Töpfer in the 40th minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Elvis Töpfer to make the kick off. A nice corner shot did that Stratos Boulgouridis got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Joaquin Gayoso quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. It was a well-played corner which Elvis Töpfer managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Elvis Töpfer hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jean-Marc Debut in the 92nd minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 93rd minute of the game. One of TSV Delliehausen:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Uruguay:s goal. Rafael Heintz had in the 94thth minute some difficulties stopping Jaime Cazalla's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. TSV Delliehausen were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Uruguay for a fine match.
