Bahrtys Talanger's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 41st minute, Felix Montenegro made a precise shot to the right of Alfons Lövgren. Bahrtys Talanger's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 48thth minute of the game Gottfrid Stor who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Alfons Lövgren made a huge save. With a little luck, Bahrtys Talanger's Alfons Lövgren got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line.
