When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, Ajax Academy's Dragos Enicov got control of the ball when Tomas Illescas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Dragos Enicov made a huge save. Jonathan Venegas charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
