Gusmão Benevides hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. The supporters of FC Fura Balizas booed when Chile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Garrido didn't get a good kick on the ball. 40 minutes into the game, Alan Tamayo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chile's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Fura Balizas the free kick. In the 39th minute, one of Chile:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Chile. Chile:s Thiago Pliego showed great skill when he stopped Olívio Ribas:s penalty. 41 minutes into the game, Fabrício Lopes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Thiago Pliego was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Long Gang Sen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

54 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Long Gang Sen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. FC Fura Balizas's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabrício Lopes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thiago Pliego breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 73rd minute, Olívio Ribas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thiago Pliego was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. FC Fura Balizas's Long Gang Sen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save FC Fura Balizas from getting a goal against them. Chile's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mariano Lacasa in the 88th minute. 90 minutes into the match, FC Fura Balizas's goalkeeper Long Gang Sen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Guillermo Fontirroig. The crowd rose to their feet as Guillermo Fontirroig kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Long Gang Sen. That made the score 4-4 in the 90 minute of play. 99 minutes had been played when some careless play by Chile's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gusmão Benevides was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Fura Balizas's players had a chance to rest. When the final whistle sounded Chile left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC Fura Balizas.
