Stasio Kowalski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 7th minute of the match. CD Zhizhio's Stasio Kowalski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 10th minute of play. After 11 minutes CD Zhizhio's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. In the 19th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stasio Kowalski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alberto Tafalla scored 0-1 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Stasio Kowalski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 34th minute after CD Zhizhio's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. The attack was good, but when Luca Zorita in the 35th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. 39 minutes had been played when some careless play by CD Zhizhio's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. Mexico's Alberto Tafalla got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 43rd match minute, CD Zhizhio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jairo Carral to maneuver through the defense. In the 44th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stasio Kowalski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Paul-Émile Bolé could shoot a difficult shot in the 46th minute, which Dante Lacasa however easily saved by the left post. Alberto Tafalla struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Stasio Kowalski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

After a rather tough play, CD Zhizhio's Yu Chao Bin got a free kick in the 51st minute. In the 53rd match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Luque to maneuver through the defense. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stasio Kowalski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Facundo Cadaval got a free kick in the 68th minute. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paul-Émile Bolé, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paul-Émile Bolé in the 83rd minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 84 minutes of play, CD Zhizhio's Sven-Arne Apelquist made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dante Lacasa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Joel Gaona recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 贺银坚, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Arne Apelquist in the 90th minute of play. 90 minutes into the game, Sven-Arne Apelquist cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Dante Lacasa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 94th minute of the match 贺银坚 shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dante Lacasa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 95 minutes into the match, CD Zhizhio's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Stasio Kowalski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mexico's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because CD Zhizhio had won, even though Mexico had held more of the ball.
