In the 4th minute, Jorge Baldes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 6th minute, Pawel Pryputnicki made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Ks 1906 Sosnowiec's Alfred Plucinik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 13th minute of play. After 14 minutes Ks 1906 Sosnowiec's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Alfred Plucinik in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Felix Montenegro in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alfred Plucinik prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 22 minutes into the match, Felix Montenegro notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Ks 1906 Sosnowiec's Alfred Plucinik. Alfred Plucinik was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ks 1906 Sosnowiec's Pawel Pryputnicki came free and shot a quick shot against goal 27 minutes in the game, fortunately Julio Vera had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Alfred Plucinik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 28th minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Ks 1906 Sosnowiec's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Alfred Plucinik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Ks 1906 Sosnowiec's Alfred Plucinik. Alfred Plucinik was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alfred Plucinik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Alfred Plucinik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 40th minute of play. Barnaba Gotfryd kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. Luis Andino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfred Plucinik having to interfere. In the 53rd minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alfred Plucinik came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. 57 minutes into the match, Ks 1906 Sosnowiec's goalkeeper Alfred Plucinik had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Daniel Zorita in the 63rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Alfred Plucinik, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When the match clock showed 66 minutes, the score became 1-4 when Cristian Sancho sped through Ks 1906 Sosnowiec's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Alfred Plucinik. Ks 1906 Sosnowiec's Edward Barniszke was substituted for Teobald Zukowski. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ks 1906 Sosnowiec's goalkeeper Alfred Plucinik, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Alfred Plucinik in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Daniel Zorita had several of the Ks 1906 Sosnowiec's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 82 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-5 score and a disappointed Alfred Plucinik as he didn't even see the shot coming. After having played for 87 minutes, Jorge Baldes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ks 1906 Sosnowiec's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jorge Baldes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pawel Pryputnicki in the 89th minute of play. In the 94th minute, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-6.
