Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Joel Gaona started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. FC Anderlecht Huachipato's Serbülent Baysan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 3rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baumar Ontanilla in the 4th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 4 minutes into the match, Baumar Ontanilla had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dante Lacasa. Mexico's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Baumar Ontanilla was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 7 minutes into the match, FC Anderlecht Huachipato's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Serbülent Baysan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 9th minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. Serbülent Baysan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 12th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baumar Ontanilla in the 14th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joel Gaona scored 1-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Serbülent Baysan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lorenzo Cazalla kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. In the 20th minute, Vitaliy Fedchenko left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Anderlecht Huachipato fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 32nd minute of play forced FC Anderlecht Huachipato's goalkeeper Serbülent Baysan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vitaliy Fedchenko got free with Dante Lacasa in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 40th minute of play forced FC Anderlecht Huachipato's goalkeeper Serbülent Baysan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Serbülent Baysan came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo. But to his dismay, Lautaro Mancebo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

In the 58th minute Vitaliy Fedchenko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 65th minute. 74 minutes into the match, FC Anderlecht Huachipato's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Serbülent Baysan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dennis-Sven Piater charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dennis-Sven Piater the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 78th match minute, FC Anderlecht Huachipato was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dennis-Sven Piater to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in FC Anderlecht Huachipato's zone, Lautaro Mancebo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Serbülent Baysan came out of the goal and Lautaro Mancebo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, FC Anderlecht Huachipato's Felix Txilar got a free kick in the 84th minute. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Alberto-Federico Acosta put it in 4-2 from a short distance just to the right of Dante Lacasa. FC Anderlecht Huachipato were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Mexico for a fine match.
